Thank You, Sun and Sarah

The sun has done its magic and melted most of the snow within two days.  Thanks to Sarah, we are both healthy!

Walk, Apple Tree, Garden Perch

It was 45 degrees and 19% humidity early this morning!  At noon, it's 64 and 10% humidity!
Jeff's apple tree is forming tiny buds.
The large log is so big that it will become a morning perch!!

Early Morning Walk

 first crocuses!
Here are teeny starts of miniature day lilies next to our mailbox.  Then I covered them with mulch!
We know the snow is not yet done for the winter!

Fond Memories

"If you want hamburger pizza, just order a hamburger!!"

The family gathers often and a "pizza party" was arranged during our visit.  It was fun! As usual, I'm knitting and listening to the chat.

Jeff and I visited in 2012 and I can remember when John, Jeff, Mom and I were sitting in her living room, chatting about the excess in her home.  The excess included yarn; I said, "sure, as soon as I take some of the yarn, John will be mad!"  He guffawed and said, "yeah, like I'm going to start knitting!" I can still remember that relaxed, fun afternoon.  Jeff and John tried to ready a computer for Suse; alas there was no internet connection in Mom's house so they could not do all they would have liked.

Spring Weather and Stuff

Huge flocks of Canadian Geese have congregated at Kensington Park.
Lots happening this year: a week of Lent has already passed, Doc is happy to have the Baja back, and a cream manages the rashes. I don't suffer in silence!!!
Patsy, Fall Garden Girl, aka Valentine's doll, arrived yesterday and will soon sell her clothes! I just want the model!

Happy Valentines Day

Fun day! Doc did cleanup duty on our early morning walk.
Then we went for fresh strawberries to add to our traditional Sunday breakfast.
The late afternoon walk turned quite chilly!
