Machine Quilting
Jeff is impressed I could fit the quilt under the foot to stitch.
I'm using a wine colored thread and like the look on both sides.
Not finished yet but it is already gorgeous.

Travel Knitting
Flights from Denver to Houston, then return with an hour delay in Tulsa due to high winds in Denver, then road trip from Houston Hobby to Corpus and back. Once in Corpus, my hands were very full of a squirmy seven month old Alexander! The gray socks have Thor fur!!!

Weekend to Corpus Christi
we left The Barn at 3:15 in a blizzard; flight was on schedule but plane was de-iced; first time I've heard the de-icer; arrived at Houston Hobby and rented a jeep, drove to Corpus Christi
Alexander is 7 months old and perfect! He has two teeth (first seen by his other Grampa while in Santo Domingo), can hold his sippy and bottle, grabs everything and mouths it all, loves Thor, loves tech, loves his Mommy's organic home made baby food, puts himself down for a nap several times a dayenjoys books and toys, is trying to crawl via the bunny hop/push and launch via cute feet, loves his bath/water play, squeals and vocalizes and is the most cute grandson ever!
Sean's man cave with new shelves but alas, my camera stopped using the flash, again
rain in Texas, and beautiful wildflowersknitting while driving from Corpus to Houston Hobby; not much knitting while at grandson's house as I was a total hog and hoarded Alexander more than my share of time

Loud Sewing Room, Fast Sewing
sewing strips together
cutting into 6.5 X 6.5 inch squares
assembling rows of the squares
all squares are sewn together; the cream and fireworks print are borders, the red marble is the backing and binding
NB I had intended to start this next week (the organization wants them mailed back within 4-6 weeks so there's plenty of time............... but the fabric and project called me on this windy and snow melt day!
