Knitting In Cold Weather

The stitches aren't as even thanks to the cold weather and cold hands but my warm feet won't care! These are for me and the yarn arrived with reinforcement yarn for the toe and heel.

Beautiful Snow White Trees!

In the time it took me to make a ham and potato with cheese casserole for dinner, we received an inch of snow. The trees are gorgeous and the birds are steadily feeding at the backyard feeder.

The pattern asks for Velcro but since that always snags yarn, I am using buttons and buttonholes.

This cutie is in South Texas, the DC grands are snowed in for the third day, Aunt Bev in Iowa is stuck home til afternoon due to an ice storm, and the Denver Metro area thinks it is Spring with sun and 59 degrees!

Early Garden So Squirrels Must Go

violets already blooming! The squirrels are not invited; they eat everything and dig all so they are going somewhere earlier this year. Last year we started in May after planting our edible garden on Mother's Day.
