OOPS!!!
His oops = fallen stack of wood when trying to take some for splitting!!
Her oops = dropped stitch due to knitting in dim light while watching a Big Bang marathon!
Ready for Predicted Cold Winter
He bought a chipper; our shrubs will be well covered with natural mulch.
While I was at Mass, he waited at home for the cord of wood to be delivered.
Ready!! He just needs to split some.
High water became even higher at Lake Ketner. chilly and sunny walk
recent floods show how strong the water flow was
We have a wee bit of "frosting." We love snow and this climate.

Plant Life Can't Compete
The squirrels eat faster than the plants can grow! Prospects of home grown pumpkins are looking pretty dismal this year.
New ones are starting but alas, Fall is already here.

Hello #70
Yesterday, on return from our walk around Lake Ketner, #70 was waiting, not so patiently! Doc took him to the park! There's one in the yard this morning; I am hoping he leaves the pumpkin patch alone! Peanuts are in and around the cage!

So Naughty!
I chased him out of the yard and then went to work.
Upon returning late afternoon, the squirrel (s) evidently became very hungry! Sorry, Brooklyn!!

FaceTime
FUN! When grandparents can't live nearby, this modern method of communication is great! Thank you for sharing the raisins, peach, kisses, and toys! Thank you, Yohaira, for teaching him which buttons to press on the i pad!

Signs of Fall
These are samples of items I mailed today from my etsy store.
Doc started chopping wood; a cord arrives Sunday.
Pumpkins are turning orange............AND getting eaten by naughty squirrels.
This green one is unmolested so far.
My favorite lop-sided pumpkin is also spared from squirrel teeth............so far.
The front yard is gorgeous!!
