There are four layers of herbs from our garden drying to be used in food recipes: oregano, lemon thyme, chives, and sage. The aroma is heavenly! We drove home in a light rain, perfect for washing the tufts of cotton from the air. Cottonwood trees are not very pretty, common in our area, and fast growing!
