Knitting Projects

I gave up teaching on weekends, not well received, but that's the way it's going to be! We did a LOT today, are tired, and this evening I'm knitting and he is on the ipad. Above are five projects starting at the bottom and going left: dishcloth, tiny knit minion, my red lace socks, grandson gray striped socks, and neon striped socks. Wine is on the upper left. We get tomorrow off; again, not well received but that's how it's going to be from now on!! Life is short!!

This new sidewalk was formed when the DC grands were visiting. Yesterday, more area was "plowed."

More was added to the new sign.

Lots of huge fish are near the surface and occasionally jump into the air.

Afternoon Rains Are Ending

Yesterday it rained; we are now going to enjoy dry days with summer temps.

Cooper Carry All by Sassafras Lane

Janet sewed this in the classroom as a gift for her adult Bronco fan!! The tote has a magnetic clasp, lots of pockets and was very labor intensive to complete but so awesome!

Blowing Apple Tree

The branches are so laden with fruit that they are drooping to the ground. Fortunately, we've had wind that knocks off some of the fruit and lessens the weight on the branches. As I type this, Doc texts that Denver is getting "an awesome T storm with a bit of hail."
