Familiar Sound of Hail

It started about five minutes after harvesting the pumpkins! After several minutes of hail, it turned into a gentle rain.

Something sneaky is nibbling on the four remaining pumpkins.  Doc wants to roast the seeds and I plan to use them on the front porch for Fall decorations.

 This afternoon, I'm harvesting all four and suspect the green one will become orange off the vine.

The apple tree is still totally leafed, the Cottonwoods are without and the Lilac and other shrub are rather leafy.  It's a very unusual Autumn.

81 Degrees Today

 At Home Depot,considering the color choices of wood flooring, we bought the fish tray for the grill.

 No need to use mitts!

I'm always knitting; am always cold too. 

Tilapia on the grill, peas, salad, and rice was our dinner.

Friday Evening

As always, I am knitting, he is working!  He is grilling chicken for dinner.  It was delicious!!

Five Cutest Grandchildren

 The BOX from Grampa arrived during FaceTime.

All are so adorable, smart, funny, and great helpers!  Just ask Mommies!!

Interesting Fall

 Some trees still have lots of leaves! Flowers are still trying to bloom, albeit sparsely.

Becky up the street has pumpkins adorning the lower branches of her huge pine!

Umbrella Soared!

We received rain last night, with wind!  The cushions are soaked and the umbrella went sailing into what used to be the garden.

My little watering helper is in her home but the flowers are still flourishing.

Sewing Store Samples and Knitting

 During a store meeting, I cast on and knit part of a sock! For a tiny foot!

 This is a January class, an adorable lunch tote using a Simplicity pattern.

The pillow has five buttons, hence learning to stitch buttonholes!

Too Many Projects

I could finish a few of the knitting and sewing projects..................if I would stop starting new ones!

I've been in Santa's Workshop for an hour and the heat is going non-stop.  It's still 37 so time to layer clothing!

The letter size selection is quirky too.  You have to select medium, then small; you can't go straight to small lettering!!  Good to know!
