 Snow resumes in two hours and will continue for 20 straight hours.  Hmmmm.

Gregor Doll Makes a Snow Angel

 First, he goes sledding with Monkey.  I get to keep this outfit, made especially for my favorite boy doll.  Just like a kid, he wears mismatched mittens.  Actually, I'm still knitting the right mitt!

They did have fun! Too bad he doesn't weigh enough to make the snow angel show up in the snow!

First Snow Blow

 Another ten inches of snow weighed down our poor pine tree.

 No surprise here that there are lots of closures and a few delayed openings.

SNOW!

On top of the 21 inches from the weekend, we have 6" of new snow!  It's bedtime; it's supposed to snow all night!  The deep prints are Doc's feet when he went to check the mail.

He's Home!

It's horrible out there, white out conditions, and yes, the 4:00 meeting was changed to another day.

Snowing and Finished Monkey

 I'll keep the larger one for my Jackie.  He looks mad somehow.  Maybe he doesn't like the red pom pom on his head.

Lots of snow but it isn't sticking to the roads yet.  The 5th and 7th graders across the street came home! Early? Or scheduled before this storm?

Snow Came Early

I was chopping at the huge ice patch; it became very cold suddenly.  Of course!  It was about to snow, three hours before predicted!

Getting Firewood and Knitting

My Jackie and I want a sock monkey outfit for him.  The one on the right is on ebay, already with a bid so I'm knitting a slightly larger one for my boy doll.

 There's tons of ice!  The next snow arrives this afternoon.

 Doc braved all the snow with the wagon and brought plenty into the garage for splitting and use.

We haven't seen the patio slab for a week! And it's dry in parts!!

Snow Melt and Sewing

 Some of the ice at the bottom of our driveway was melted enough to chip away with a shovel.

 It's definitely melting today!

I love my sewing room!  This dress is for Sasha.

Glorious Sun at 6000 Feet

We received 21 inches of snow; it is trying to melt but probably won't diminish much because the next snow arrives Wednesday. Trekkers make this a wonderful walk!

 Doc took the broom to the pine; the branches were so laden with snow that it hurt to see the poor tree.

Big icicles are forming all around the neighborhood.
