Tree Pruning Today
I hope it's not too late for the Honey Crisp; leaves are starting already.
This tree, crab apple, is a late bloomer. No worries here.
This pot of flowers is next to the back patio table. The blossoms like morning; they droop in the afternoons. Too bad; they are supposed to love sun.
Doc repaired hoses for the irrigation drip. The bulbs are happy!

Allium, Chokeberry, Lilac
These were becoming so numerous and too close to a path; I dug up the bulbs and gifted some and transplanted others.
The Chokeberry bush is already forming leaves and teeny berries that birds and squirrels LOVE.
The lilac bush too is forming leaves and teeny blossoms to be!
Doc is making screens and laying down the irrigation hoses.

More Yarn, More Bulbs
I bought some gladiolas and neighbors gifted me with more bulbs. In a month, the front garden will be teeming with color!
Doc fertilized last September; the lawn is gorgeous!
Tuesday Morning in Arvada received a shipment of sock yarn. It's gorgeous! I only bought 300 grams because I just placed a large order with KnitPicks and it has already shipped!
Yes, I do. I do knit a LOT of yarn, all the time!

Playing in Dirt
Apple tree at the far end will be trimmed next week; yesterday's snowfall postponed the earlier date.
Our lilac bush is leafing!
Violets and oregano are already looking healthy.
I think these are day lilies.
Chives in the forefront are large and healthy.
Yellow daffodils and non blooming iris and hyacinth are looking great!
We play in the garage too! Switch from dirt to playing with oil!

Tree Trimming Day
Oops! Not sure they can trim the Honey Crisp Apple tree at 2:00 today. We started with teeny hail, then progressed to quite heavy snow. It's a very wet, huge flakes kind of snow and gorgeous!

Changes at Lake Ketner
We took this path, nearly invisible with tall grasses, back in March 2011.
The City has mowed much of the grasses and the water level is at an all time high.
This looks down where we were sure Jerome would want to sled. It used to have tall grasses.

Awesome Saturday
Doc is drinking peppermint tea outside at 8:30 in 60 degrees!
Then he baked cookies!
Dennis brought over some iris bulbs; he thinks they're purple.
It's perfect for washing the car and as always, knitting.

Knitting on Frosty Morning
These wool socks are knit of Plymouth Neon Now yarn.
We need wool socks, even in Spring; frost is not unusual.

This book will stay here for awhile; parents and grandparents are equally important in this cloth book.
