House Addition Plans
It's as lot of work, getting the permit, plans drafted and submitted to different folks, and finalizing preferences. We started in July and still are in the planning stage. Exciting!

Frost, Doll, Yarn
It's definitely chilly but snow has left the forecast for now. Doll and yarn arrived today! Yeah! The best part of the day is that Doc could enjoy the xbox for the second consecutive day! Foot is healing, slowly but surely.

Balmy Before First Storm
Michael and Sean are playing football this afternoon; still 72 degrees.
Flowers and yard are still happy and dry. The storm should arrive this evening.

Sandwich, Progress of Foot
Doc used the drive through when his foot didn't bear weight. When I picked up the sandwich on subsequent days, I used his cheat sheet. He feared spit in his sandwich so he was super, super polite!
After x rays and blood work, no visible fracture, we went to buy a boot, approved by Dr. Hahn. Crutches on day 6 could be worse!

Mesmerized!
It's day 5 on crutches and Doc is coping well, restless, wanting to enjoy this mild Autumn, but the foot says, "wait." Good call on the tech, Sean!!!
Balmy Autumn
On the greenwalk, the northern catalpa has tons of been pods. Two new trees planted themselves in our yard; they are now planted in Leo's backyard.
Teeny new roses are still starting to bloom.
Our yard does NOT look like the usual October!
