We woke up to two more inches of snow. Many places have delayed openings.
The air looks like glitter as teeny flakes are dropping from tree limbs. It's 5 degrees, feels like -2!

Morning Walk, Melting Snow
Saturday, October 26, 2019
This is FUN
It's 12% humidity, Doc is repairing a snowblower in the garage, and I'm knitting until leaving for the 5:00 PM mass, just in case tomorrow is scary to drive.

Five Inches of New Snow

Life at the Barn
It's been chilly and we love our wool socks. His bumble bee or Hawkeye socks are new.
Doc is canning pizza sauce.
Strong winds that lasted 36 hours have totally removed all the Catalpa leaves.
Doc is making lots of votive candles for the evening relaxation hours after work.

Quick Melt, Huge Leaf Dump
It was bitter cold this morning and the snow was blowing........... 23 degrees but felt like 15. My early walk was very short, less than 3/4 mile.
My longer walk was barely after noon and most of the snow was gone. However, huge piles of leaves were everywhere. Many had not even been given a change to turn yellow or red or brown!

Knitting with Baby Sakora
Some of us were knitting and crocheting..................
Lorraine snagged the adorable 2 1/2 month old. She was so comfy in those arms!
Mom and Grandma stayed close; you can barely see a blond head of grandson, Ralph.
This was a GREAT morning at Panera, knitting and catching up with friends.
