Relaxing After Saturday Mass

Some of the best things in life are in these pictures! There is "family" plus friends. We also have spouse, wine and yarn!

Recycle Day Tomorrow

After a tedious estate sale and storing the excess (the items that did not sell, the items we couldn't GIVE away), in our garage, we will finally get to purge some of the recyclables used to transport from the estate sale house to ours. Most of the contents went to Goodwill over the weekend. Someone can use them well.

Impressive Pumpkin Plant

Okay, I'll stop now. It's just that Mother Nature is so impressive!

All Alone

After Spring Break, after the Estate Sale, and after so much commotion, the dog is lonely and looking for visitors!

Thunderstorm Germinates Gigantic Pumpkin Seed

Suddenly we were under a tornado watch, thunder was non-stop, and dog was totally freaked! After the inch of rain, the sun came out and the wind began. I checked my garden and the gigantic pumpkin seeds that I planted on Saturday were well above ground. There was no sign of them earlier today! According to the package, the pumpkin can be as large as 100 pounds. Can't wait! Thanks Jenny for the great seeds!

Knitting for Bigfoot

Whew! I'm glad I started early on the May Man's birthday socks! There are a lot of rounds to this long sock! He wears a size 12 shoe and the first sock appeared incredibly long and big. However, when compared to the bare foot of DH who wears a size 10 shoe, it just might be a perfect fit!
