This is the sixth pair of socks for him this year. It took him awhile (38 years) to want hand knit socks; he believed they would be too thick for shoes. He's now hooked on hand knit socks!!

Custom Fit Gloves

I cast on my gloves in the hotel suite. Colorado is supposed to have "winter" next Tuesday and I'll have new gloves by then.

Home from Vacation

We spent a fabulous four days at Caribe Royale in Orlando where Jeff attended conference sessions and I knit by the pool. What a fun resort! My plan was to design the American Girl socks but never got around to it! I knit socks and gloves for me and Jeff instead.

Seaming and Hood

I'm almost done with my Debbie Bliss Hooded Cardi. Mods include raglan sleeves (I don't find set in sleeves as comfy) and buttonholes instead of a separating zipper. I'll be searching for wooden buttons. I surprised myself and am able to continue the pattern for the hood, eventhough I changed to raglan sleeves.
