Forecast of Snow

The parking lot of Jo Ann's in Centennial is very wet from all the melting snow.
This is our driveway.

This is the view as I drive to Jo Ann Fabrics in Littleton. Much of the snow has melted; good thing because it is supposed to snow for the next three days.

Knitting

Why do I knit such tiny mittens for the Sasha doll?????? Because I can!
This sock yarn is called "green envy" and has some interesting striping. The first mitten is all one pattern!!!

His socks are San Diego by Wisdom Universal Yarns.
My socks are San Francisco by Wisdom Universal Yarns. HE likes the colorway and striping of MY socks so I added a lace pattern on the cuff, hoping he won't try to "steal" them!

Creative Man

For Christmas, his lovely wife gifted him with a fantastic Singer sewing machine. The machine was a request; he wants to learn to sew and be able to create, as well as repair favorite hunting accessories. Concentrating ..........................................................

Thoughtful husband seamed some adorable pajama bottoms for his tall, slender wife while becoming acquainted with his new machine. This couple makes a great team!

Snow Trying to Melt

Yesterday some drips from the roof formed icicles on the shrub. It's still too cold (19 degrees) for any more melting to occur this morning. But it is trying!!
Side streets are still very messy; well used roads are pretty dry.

Yes, I'm always knitting!

Knitting

This tiny mitten fits the 16.5 inch Sasha/Gregor doll.
Two sweaters need buttons and then will be listed for sale. I have lots of the red/yellow yarn so might even get a matching hat!

My San Francisco socks have a lace pattern on the cuff that probably doesn't show up well. Thank you, Jeff, for the Christmas yarn!

Still Lots of Snow, Still Knitting

The temp is still below freezing so there's no chance for any of this to melt.
Brave Kitty made a few tracks on the back porch, then scurried back inside. Smart Kitty!!
Checking the weather: hmmmm the prediction is wrong. It's still below freezing, not 40 degrees!!

So, let's eat pancakes with blueberries! And knit and chat while eating! LOVE my new socks; the yarn was a Christmas gift from Jeff.
