It's Aran Wool from Ireland!  Wow!  They must weigh an amount for the buyer; there's no wrapper and it's wound into a loose ball.  The wool is gorgeous!

Geocaching and Grasshoppers!

Everything is SO different this year!  It was so wet that Lake Ketner is at an all time high, then so dry that the earth is cracking, bigger grasshoppers, so many hornets................just different!

Knitting At Subaru

My car needed a routine oil change which ended up in two hours of other car services! While there, I knit on Augustine's socks, pet the mascot dog, and asked for a free mug! And received one!!!!

 She is the sweetest dog!

I was so close to the Tuesday Morning store that after my Forester was perfect, stopped in and saw that it was Christmas!  Also found a knit blanket to be cut up for doll undies.

You Got It!!!

Great idea, John Jeffrey (age 6, just started first grade)! I will buy plenty of candy and Grampa will be responsible for the video games!

Open Space Beauty and Greenbelt

 Leaves are everywhere; it feels like Autumn!

 Sometimes there are tadpoles, frogs, and even ducks swimming in this "pool."

 
 
 The hill is slight so even the youngest grand can take a sled safely.

 
 
 We've had an all time high level of water at Lake Ketner.

 
I walk the greenbelt every morning; great peaceful area.

 They tried to take down this dead tree on Sunday..........................until a limb crashed into the fence.

I teach sewing, quilting, and knitting at several sites.  West View is closest to home; a mere .8 mile from The Barn (and Santa's Workshop)!
