Quilting Friend

We try to meet more often but life became hectic for both of us.  Today we made up for the lost time, shared photos of our recent projects, had lunch, and then she gifted me with fabric scraps and pink thread because she "doesn't sew pink."  Thank you!

New Arrivals: Yarn, Doll

Patsyette and Yarn from Knitterman arrived late last night! Oh boy!
So today, I'm knitting a bright cardigan for Gregor (special order.........not for me!) and sewing panties for the new girl.

Yummy!

Another Broken DPN

I use double pointed needles a LOT: for socks, mittens, hats, and sleeves of doll sweaters.  Somehow, I keep breaking size 0 and think it has something to do with having to grip tightly. Arthritis is kicking in and interferes with handling things, including knitting needles.

Patsy and Ann Estelle, both Tonner 10" bodies (feet) are getting socks to go with outfits!

Doc's Homework!

He gets to make peanut brittle with chocolate coating; thanks to Good Eats recipe!

Snow with Smiley Faces

Dennis and Winston do this every time they walk past our house!  Funny!

It's still icy and snowy but with 55 degrees in the forecast, things should improve.

I didn't wear trekkers today! That's a good sign!
