Early Morning Walk

 It's 50 degrees, no wind, and very sunny.  What a gorgeous time of year.

 The bunnies are everywhere and skittish around humans.

 
 Dogwoods are blooming, both white and pink are in our area.

First Lawn Mow

He mowed the back yard for the first time in 2016. In the far corner is the apple tree with baby leaves.

 Oops; we had blocked this perfect spot for a nest and the recent blizzard blew down the obstruction.

The goose berry shrub is bearing many leaves and the lilac bush below not only has leaves but also teeny beginning of the purple blossoms.

Sick Tree in Front Yard

 
Right after the blizzard, chunks of bark peeled off the trunk and fell to the lawn.  Since then, the branches are brittle and more pieces of bark are falling off the branches.  Hmmmm  Looks like we'll be replacing this tree in the very near future.

WINDY Spring Day

Twirly things don't get a rest and yeah, blooms will be here soon.

Mulch, Rotisserie, Apple Leaves

 Last April we paid for tons of mulch with the directions to "fluff" it up this Spring. Done!

 Some of our days are sunny, still, and 70 degrees! Bye snow!

 Doc is cooking dinner outside and we might even get to eat outdoors today.
