Snow Tonight At 6000 Feet

It's very damp and chilly, 41 but feels like 37. However, I doubt we'll get any flakes at our elevation of 5600'.  Stranger things have happened in our location though................... We enjoyed a cozy fire this evening and yup, that's the last of our firewood.

Rosebush and Rain

Little bunny fed under the rosebush while I watched from Santa's Workshop.  Stinker!  The allium (from the onion family) seem to be keeping them away from the iris and hyacinth along the driveway. It rained during the night and will rain all day today.

Front Garden

Gifted peonies are starting to grow!  The builder's sign was placed there when the tiny starts were not even visible.  Luckily the new plants seem undamaged.

Bunnies, Trash, Flowers

It becomes light so early and I could see the bunnies before 7 AM from Santa's Workshop.
Damage from yesterday's work includes lunch trash on the north side of the house and broken iris blooms to be.......   I'm not complaining, just hoping they hurry up and complete the addition quickly.

These are tall purple alliums and irises to be!
My favorite place to walk has to be the greenbelt.
Of the six blue salvia shrubs, this is the only one with blooms to be. All are in the front yard.

Week Five: Backfill

This view is from the backdoor of the garage.

Ladybugs

This tree was laden with ladybugs.  The remainder of my walk was bug free.

The library had a cute display as you entered the children's wing.  Ladybug caught my eye.
