Evenings Rock

Stinky Stage

This house grows their weed allotment; 6 plants per legally residing adult.
It is at the really stinky stage, smells like skunk, and wafts up the greenbelt to the exit to our street. It does not flow down to our property, thank goodness!!  I walk this route twice a day so am convinced that I do NOT want to grow a plant for fun. Whew!

The three pictures above are from Kensington Park.  It looks like fall!

Relaxing with Firepit

It gets dark so quickly but the back patio is still a favorite spot to relax after work.

Fast Weekend

Doc picked up a lot of leaves this weekend.........again! They are still falling.  Few flowers remain; something I will look forward to this April.
Cable man took nearly three hours but all is well.  I think we now have Disney.
It's very mild but evenings are chilly.  The builders have a couple more things to do with the
gas fireplace and then all is complete.

All Saints, Frost, Leaves Patrol

The MMoms group painted saints or learned to knit on Wednesday.  When the knitters no longer needed help, I painted.  I'm not a painter but it was fun.
Just a bit of frost is on the garage.
It's time to do leaf patrol before the rain and snow arrive.  The greenbelt looks desolate.

More frost is on the higher roof.
We can use the fireplace but it's still not right.  They'll fix the flame and tile soon.

La Nina Means Mild and No Snow Yet

There was a cute trail of dropped candy, still in its package, along with loose m and ms and a tootsie roll wrapper.  We had a couple of trick or treat goblins at our door and then we turned off the porch light.

It's so mild that the algae is growing abundantly and it's stinky.

Week 30: Correct Tile on Fireplace

The picture doesn't show it but the right side has a gap where there is metal frame rather than tile and grout.  They'll be here "this week" to repair but don't hold your breath.
