Late Walk and Snow Blow

 This snow was a gift; it will start tomorrow.  We love snow!

Our street doesn't get a snowplow but it's ok. 

Doc came home from work to test a blower and get rid of two inches of snow before the real storm arrives.

 
 

 

Winter Storm Helena

 Snow was supposed to start late tomorrow but we woke up to an inch on the ground.

 I wore trekkers but didn't need them; it's not slippery yet.

We love snow!  Since visibility is a mere 500 feet, I rescheduled my adult knitting class.

I know, it's winter, but I love plants!

Grandchildren Used to Play Here!

 Doc has overtaken the kids' tables and space to set up his Brother embroidery machine.

 He's using their tables too!!  And says he'll make his own tea! (See the small stove against the wall)

Cold, Calm Morning

 It's 18 degrees and sunny.  The storm and bitter cold arrive mid week.

 He is already an expert, after a few days!!! Each project provides lots of learning too.

Happy New Year

Few people were at the 7:30 AM Mass and I like the less crowded congregation.  It's a gorgeous day for a walk and Doc is making the turkey in the garage.  Neither of us enjoy the aroma of grease lingering in the house.
