St. Patrick's Day and Knit Bunnies

I used to embroider the faces; now I'm giving my hands a break! I'll take these to very special ladies on Monday.
Fr. Ken said we could have corned beef and cabbage if we must; then abstain on Saturday.  We chose a veggie platter and he is allowed thin slices of beef and ham.  It's Spring!!

Being Remarkable Event

Here is another art teacher; Cindy is making me a yarn bowl.
Kirk Weisler distributed some of his Dog Poop Initiative books but I didn't score a copy!
He's a fabulous presenter; as always, I knit, and have 5" on a new pair of socks!

Spring?

Trees are budding. It's 62 degrees, still very windy, and 12% humidity.
No ice or snow are in sight.
If you look closely, you can spot the robin drinking from the flowing water.

Brothers' Sunday Lunch

Doc grilled delicious burgers, we caught up on our lives.

Before lunch, Bob munched on some chocolate covered almonds.  By the end of dinner, the uneaten few had begun to melt!
This winter is not a real winter.  Whoever heard of eating outside in shirtsleeves in March???

Knitting

Julie can knit!!!  She used to live across the street and always wanted to learn to knit.
Her work is even and pretty.
Mommy's socks are finished.  The first of several matching baby socks are just started.

Mardi Gras Celebration

Not much snow is left but the "wet" is nearly black ice.  It was cold!

As we prepared our Fat Tuesday meal, with wines to sample, it tried to snow.  We LOVE snow!

From right to left is how we rated these four white wines.
