It's a wonderful setting for knitting (and sewing) classes.
A student brought me some gorgeous finger weight yarn; it might become a scarf to go with my new cardigan.

VERY Dry And Blooms
Many Rabbits, Few Squirrels
Since the builders removed our fence last April, we have been inundated with bunnies!!! They are EVERYWHERE! The fence is restored and Doc will set up chicken wire barriers so that our backyard will have blooms, once we plant shrubs and a garden this Spring.
Squirrels???? Well, Ginger, the huge dog behind our house, has started to catch squirrels, break their necks, and place them in a pile in the corner of her yard!!! I would like a picture!!! But I avoid icky smells so will let us all just use our imagination!

Hand Knit Wool Socks
Early in January, one of the knitting blogs gave suggestions on how to help your hand knit socks last longer. Some of ours are 8 years old and I never gave extra care in washing them. I'm using the recommendations: don't use fabric softener, do use cool or barely warm water in the washing machine, dry them on the light setting in the dryer. Since we have SO MANY pairs each, I set aside the "dirty socks" and then wash a week or two pairs of socks in one load.
His pile is on the left, 10 pairs; 11 pairs of my socks are on the right. This will continue until I forget!

St. Patrick's Day and Knit Bunnies
I used to embroider the faces; now I'm giving my hands a break! I'll take these to very special ladies on Monday.
Fr. Ken said we could have corned beef and cabbage if we must; then abstain on Saturday. We chose a veggie platter and he is allowed thin slices of beef and ham. It's Spring!!

Being Remarkable Event
Here is another art teacher; Cindy is making me a yarn bowl.
Kirk Weisler distributed some of his Dog Poop Initiative books but I didn't score a copy!
He's a fabulous presenter; as always, I knit, and have 5" on a new pair of socks!
