St. Nicholas' Present: Stitch Removal

 
 The stitches came out yesterday afternoon and the two fingers are unhappy and swollen.

Nurse showed me a better way to wrap the splints. I use splints for 6 more weeks and then have an xray. Hopefully that will be the end!

There are a few decorations on both fireplaces but the majority of the decos are in this front room.

First Aid Station Nearly Finished

Fingers are healing nicely and Wednesday the stitches are removed.  Progress!!

It extends beyond my fragile fingertips and even hides the navy stitches on my tips!

First Sunday of Advent

I always thought the first candle was for Hope (then love, joy, and peace) but our SOC bulletin said it's hope for Peace.  Regardless, we are preparing for the incarnation during Advent.

Doing Errands

 
Re store offered the quilting cotton and embroidery floss, we also bought alcohol and goodies from Costco.  No one crashed into me!!  I wore the sling, of course.
