Knitting with Friends

We were invited to a knitter's home rather than meet at Panera, our usual spot. SO.... we raided her stash to see fun yarns and knitting books.

 Here are some in the "knitting library" and totally oblivious to the camera!

 Then to do a little knitting...................and chatting.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch, lots of laughs, and then a quick clean up and home to relax and knit.

Funny Interweave Results

So..............for fun I took the quiz from Interweave to find out what kind of knitter I am.  I would have said, multi project, multi task knitter.  I wasn't too far from the results of this quiz!!!!

Mom always called me "her knitting machine."  A current friend is now calling me cheetah.

Summary of Fun and Fast Summer

We have four summer birthdays!  Three get to celebrate at The Barn! Last year we were able to celebrate the other granddaughter's birthday at the Barn and sure miss her this year!

 Bunnies still raid my garden and I miss the help in chasing them up the street.

Today we picked up our box of Palisades Peaches from Golden and they are delicious.  If the grands were closer, it would be a wonderful excuse to enjoy a peach party!!!!
