Aeration, Knitting, Humidifier

Mark was in our neighborhood and aerated several lawns. Looks like the Canadian Geese were camped here!

I'm still self quarantined with extreme nose congestion but no fever or sore throat. I'm grateful. Doc brought home an awesome humidifier and I am knitting.  I'll finish the "Heirloom" today. Mom started the Heirloom for us in 2011 when we first moved to Westminster.  She (or someone knit) the first 13" and then a sister brought the 13"start and tons of yarn to me in April 2017.

Birthday Month

We party all month; it's the advantage of age!! Lorraine made the tastiest chocolate covered strawberries and Linda and I (pictured below) took several home to grateful husbands.
This is Finger Play yarn, in Louisville, Colorado.  Awesome sock yarn!!
Then we went to nearby Maverick Fibers in Lafayette, Colorado, where I went to heaven!
As covid 19 restrictions increase, we celebrated Sunday mass at home.

Two Inches of New Snow

It was a beautiful walk this morning.

By early afternoon, much of the snow had melted and a neighbor's bulbs are up!!

New Window, Fun Life

One window was installed Friday; more to come after the storm.

We took a quick walk and a few flakes fell earlier than predicted.
Quilting class is fun; these women are creative.

 Doc is cooking!

Our storm is on its way.

Knitting, Gardening, Canning

This is my Valentine's Day/surviving skin checkup gift from Doc.  Gorgeous alpaca!!
It's too early to garden outside but the indoors spinach is growing.
While I'm teaching sewing classes, he's busy with canning pizza sauce.

2020 Is Going Quickly

We enjoyed a fabulous Advent and Christmas season, are back to work, back to Walking with Purpose classes, enjoyed a totally fun visit from daughter and grands, and are having a real winter with lots of fun snow.  Retirement could be in the near future.............. Today I'm repairing a pair of socks knit in 2012 because they are such a fun colorway.

The patching yarn blends well even though it is a different colorway. I still knit as often as possible!
