Puma Park for Picnic

I finished eating, now where is John Jeffrey so we can play?? The slide was cold but not wet.
Jeff is enjoying granola with his lunch of soup and bread.

The leaves are glorious; we sure missed the seasons while living in South Texas.

Knitted Peace Yarn

Knitted Peace has a newsletter that I am now receiving and so many choices of yarn. I'm still knitting wool socks for me and the Doc so this morning I chose some girly colors for myself. Here is the newsletter etc from this morning's venture. The square dpns are shown with Jeff's new socks of Regia yarn in a prior post. These needles are wonderful!!

Yarn Purchases

Jeff's sock yarn arrived via ebay purchase and I'm using my new square dpns from A Knitted Peace. Love them!! And the Doctor loves his new socks and is NOT pestering me about when they will be finished.

A Knitted Peace

While doing errands this morning, we happened onto A Knitted Peace. It's a fabulous yarn shop in Littleton!!! I found the size 1 kollage square needles that I have been wanting for socks. I'm knitting the 24th pair of adult socks right now; that's 24 this year alone and is not factoring in the doll socks or children's socks. Sooooooooooo I rationalized buying them, along with more sock yarn for me.

Playing Dolls

I'm sewing and knitting for the American Girl. The mittens are for my favorite little penpal, a nine year old great niece. We get to see her and her mother in Ft. Collins in a week. Can't wait! I sort of forgot how I knit these so one is going to be a tad tighter than the other. I'm using sock yarn, size 1 dpns, and need to cast on 24 sts. The first mitten has only 22 sts but it fits okay.
I forgot to photograph but stitched Halloween tights and a couple pair of pull-on slacks today too for the AG doll. Some day my little granddaughter will inherit all "my" doll clothes! For now, I'll keep the newly sewn hearts skirt and the cute Denver items.
