Big Melt, Baja, Healthy

These irises are along our driveway and think it is Spring already!

We are having Spring! It was 55 today, lots of snow melt, and will be 70 degrees next week!!
The Baja needs a part so we drove it to Fifth Gear at 7:15, returned for cinnamon rolls, then walked and sewed and played xbox.  His foot is better and the proper cream is "fixing" my rashes. Fun "sick day."

Happy Ash Wednesday

The greenbelt is a well used path; it is almost completely clear.  Yeah!

No, it's too early to dig in the dirt.

Had a routine "mole check" and yes, the itch was an old mole and not a rash.  She obliged and froze off the remainder that I had not scratched off! Here are some handy sized freebies.

Happy Mardi Gras, Broncos Parade

We were in bed but heard the fireworks so knew that the Broncos had won Super Bowl 50.  Today there's a huge parade and lots of activities planned in downtown Denver. The parade will be televised and of course, the world looks orange! Everyone wears team colors................except a few of us.
Walking the greenbelt and seeing THREE rabbits makes me think Spring will come soon.  It has been a stressful time and Spring is welcomed!
It will be near 60 degrees this week so hopefully the icy and snowy paths will change quickly.

Broncos Energy

Treats and orange clad people were everywhere you turned.
Doc has energy, I don't yet, but sure enjoyed the nachos and potato treats!
Doc also made our traditional breakfast, and then canned enough pizza sauce to
last us until 2017!!!
Except for a brief visit to Jo Ann's for sew on snaps, I sat in my chair and knit!

New Doll, New Cream

Patsy arrived in the evening, as we were exhausted and trying to stay warm.

This recommended cream from the specialist works great for skin rashes.  Diagnosis is getting closer!

Buried in Snow

Flamingos like the Broncos but right now, you can't see much of their team colors.  It's 12 degrees this morning and the 14 year old across the street started walking to school wearing shorts, long sleeved top, no hat, no gloves.................. Whoa!

Melting Snow Experiment

The high was 30 with "feels like 25" but the black grill cover still helped the 12" of snow on it to melt.  Great school experiment!

My afternoon walk didn't reveal much snow melt.
