Valentine's Day, Knitting, Spring

It was a fun Valentine's Day! Doc came home from work early! Again?!

Sometimes the gauge is off and the lasered needle size is NOT visible!  Vision is first to go! All my knitting classes this year have been awesome!

It still seems like Spring.  We probably won't get the usual 81 inches of snow this year!

Spring Knitting

It's 78 degrees and 11% humidity, with wind to annoy the ears. Spring?

Some trees are budding such as our Chokeberry shrub.

This is hand dyed wool and so gorgeous!  This set is for ME!

New Water Heater

This is a BIG treat for us who love the new shower in the addition.  We won't run out of hot water!

Algae and Ice

This has to be the mildest winter ever!  I love my walks and so enjoy this climate of dry air
and abundant sun.  Who would guess we have algae in February??

Valentine Tsums!

Yesterday, I returned from the afternoon walk (freezing!!) and found the package on our front step!
To distract myself from opening and wrecking the cute soda fountain diorama, I joined Doc in front of the fireplace and knit on my cardigan.  Cozy!

This morning, I could stand it no longer! Mickey with kisses is just too cute!  Thank you, Kristine!

Ice on Groundhog's Day

So of course, our routine is changed and I'm still afraid to venture out, walking or driving.

Instead of walking, I'm cleaning my sewing room, aka Santa's Workshop.

Purple Crocuses

They are at St. Mark, surrounded by tulips!

It is bleak and bitter cold today.
