Simple Pleasures

 We are iced and snowed in this Wednesday! He tried to drive to work for a meeting but there was still ice under the snow and not worth the risk.  Some wise person cancelled the meeting after all!!

I advised on Monday that I would NOT teach the Wednesday morning Beginning Sewing class.  I try to avoid all snow and ice driving. 

Our fireplace is an insert and you're supposed to be able to cook using it!! Jerome has successfully popped popcorn using a Jiffy Pop package.  Doc bought this teapot last weekend and the water becomes hot enough to boil! We love hearing the whistle!!

The fan by my feet helps blow the warm air from the fireplace into the first floor of our home.
