Most Precious Ever

Such a good brother!! Those eyes of little sis sure indicate a longing for a piece of popcorn, to grab and taste the chapstick, and to touch and drool on all of brother's treasures. At five months, all she gets is a new hat!!

What an adorable duo!

Check Corrections First

This is how the chart should have looked in the book.
Here is the Eunice sock chart that is all wrong! Unfortunately, I didn't check interweave.com for corrections before knitting the heel, looking at the pictures in Sock Innovation and trying to knit according to the picture.
Here's the heel of the first sock, the one I knit before searching for corrections. I chose to leave the heel as is, only have a few knit stitches where there should be purls. Two knitting friends had a hard time seeing "errors" in my work without my pointing out the area. Sock #2 will be knit according to the corrections.

Thank You, Kristine

I love your babies, my grandbabies.

Thank You, John Jeffrey

Wow! What a delightful book! Little grandson added some other uses for me like: knit Rudolph hats, play slow/fast game, play scoop you, splash water when drinking from the water fountain, pull the wagon lots and lots with him as passenger, and "do this" on park equipment.

Eunice Socks

Cuff down, designed by cookie a. and so adorable! For me!

Ladybug Hat for DC

Brooklyn needs a new hat to wear around the city in her new home. It'll be cold in Washington D.C. but oh so pretty. My brother was born there but I don't remember much from those four years of residence. I did enjoy being a tourist when I was a teenager and then again, when attending a NCEA Conference in Baltimore as an adult. Lots to see!

Ladybug Earflap Hat Experiment

My brain imagines a ladybug hat for Brooklyn. Here's the beginning, and on straight needles so I don't have as much of the black yarn to weave in later.
