Baby Pumpkins!




I finally found two baby starts on my pumpkin vine. The patch had become so unruly that I trimmed a lot of it and then today discovered that yes, there really are two very tiny pumpkins forming.

    Wow!!!!!!! And they are so green and healthy looking baby pumpkins! I wonder if they were thriving beneath the shade of the leaves? I hope they get big enough to resemble a real pumpkin!

    Alas, one baby is turning yellow today. It's just too hot in Texas to expect pumpkins to do well.
