I did the three needle bindoff ONCE with seven year old Eve. This was three years ago with one of my second graders whose internet pattern called for this technique. We googled to find the video and were very successful.

I used dpns, my favorite with doll clothes. You're right, Ruk, it is nice and flat and perfect for a doll sweater.
