Bind off bottom when desired length is achieved. Your work will look like the above picture. Using dpns, same size needles as the straight needles, slide stitches from one holder onto three dpns. Pick up 6 stitches from the 4 cast on, under the arms and then one stitch on each side. As you knit the first round, close the tiny gaps under the arms by knitting two stitches together.
Fantastic! Looks great in the xmas colors. I am excited to get started. My oldest has been celebrating her 15th birthday! But I am headed to Joann's later today.
I love being married to the absolute best companion for life. I love being Mom, and now a Gramma. Grandbaby #2, a darling blonde chatterbox arrived on August 14, 2010. Grandbaby #3, a little boy, arrived on July 12, 2011. He is gorgeous! Baby sister arrived in August 2013 and what a beautiful baby! The most recent arrival is Augustine, 5th grandchild, born January 2014. Life is so good!
