Lake Ketner is our favorite place to walk after work.

Hyacinth along our backyard fence are trying to uncover themselves.

Wonderful Wednesday

Yah!  We have a cleared street!
Our lawn is going to be so green and lush after recent snowstorms.
The chives and strawberries are visible due to snow melt and seemed to survive quite well!
New handmade bracelets are perfect!  What a wonderful birthday present!

Snow Melt in High of 27 Degrees

We took our walk and listened to the sounds of melting water traveling downhill towards Ketner Lake.
The snow on our table was melting, then froze as the evening temps dropped.
Kids are out of school for Spring and Easter Breaks.  The sewing classrooms are full, full, full!
My garden is buried under that white mess!

Storm Virgil Left Colorado

All that remains are huge piles of snow and a few flakes that fell during the night.
The streets are a mess.  DIA received 11.6 inches and more than 233 flights were cancelled.
One huge icicle is fun to watch from my sewing window.
The Robins are so so happy!  And today is our wonderful son's birthday!! Such a fine day!

7 Degrees and Ice on Palm Sunday

We tried to take a walk but it was too icy.  The sliding back door finally unfroze at 10:00 AM, not sure yet about the garage door.   Many roads were closed yesterday and I 70 finally opened this morning.  Two neighborhoods in Denver lost their power.................must have been so cold for those families!  We are warm and safe and love our  blizzard vacation!
