a trip to Broomfield to mail ebay was an easy route in spite of yesterday's 9 inches ( in Broomfield; Westminster received 8.9 inches)

Snowy Walk

the Canadian geese are back, landed at Ketner Lake for a few minutes, then flew off, in three separate groups, in very loud V formations, leaving behind a dozen regular ducks
bring your boots, John Jeffrey; you can stomp in snow and melted snow
the leaves had not fallen yet, making the snow filled branches very heavy; we could hear snapping sounds of wood all throughout the area
