Our Yard

one lone morning glory blooms happily
a big wind during the night knocked down more apples

the wood pile has pieces jutting out; one fell from the stack
 the leaning stack of wood
Doc picked these up on Sunday; they weren't free from bites and wormholes
one lone gladiola made it past the rabbits

New Vaccines

This is new, and 90% effective compared to the one we received two years ago. That one was only 30% effective.  I got the vaccine Friday morning in my left arm and felt like I had the flu or shingles (horrible illness; I had it in 2012) until this morning.  Shingrix is in two doses.  Now that I know how uncomfortable it is, I'll get dose #2 when I have little else going on.
My right arm got the pneumonia vaccine and is tender with some splotchyness on the skin but is not too annoying.

Cooking and Flying

Doc is having SO much fun with this surprise gift!!
He is practicing in the sunroom, learning tons from youtube videos

He's still grilling...................less since the Friday arrival of his drone!!!!

Quiet and Lonely at The Barn

My walking buddy has returned to Virginia.  I'm walking alone today.
It's just the Seniors here! Lonely and so quiet!
There are no water balloons or Mentos rockets, no Beatles songs or "Grandpa wanna play video games?"
