Painting While Stitching Scout

Doc digitized our beloved dog, Scout, and the embroidery is progressing nicely.

New Year's Eve Doll Order

Marley is 12" and I "lost" her pattern so had to redraft a low rise panty for her.  I will become more organized in 2017!!  Buyer wants two dozen.

New Tech at The Barn

Yup, this is HIS embroidery machine but I'm allowed to use it too.

Lunch Outside Today

It was so pleasant! We ate lunch outside under the umbrella; 64 degrees meant a hat for me!

64 Degrees, 7% Humidity, Bunny, Paint

We are having a mild few days, painting the basement, still on vacation so Doc is grilling, and simply enjoying our time together before January 2!!

 This is "Brook's Nook!"

So Now We Play!

We finished installing and hemming the Sunroom's curtains so now we get to PLAY in the sewing room! The computer guru digitized the leaf and we are pleased with his first effort.

Less Snow, More Fallen Branches

Yesterday's high winds brought down some kindling wood!  It's 20% humidity and 42 degrees!

Merry Christmas and Blessings to All

Jeff baked a pie using the apples from our tree in 2014.  Delicious! He also used the rotisserie for the roast; what a great chef!

We enjoyed a tranquil (except for the 31 mph winds; Boulder had 37 mph!) and wonderful Christmas.

Happy Christmas Eve

Oooooooooooo! Doc made breakfast tacos this morning! Delicious!

While he recycled, I took a snowy walk.

Puzzle time and then pizza for dinner.

Relaxing and knitting a display for March's knitting class.  A note to Santa told him where to find cookies!!  I'm going to bed! It's 7:32!!!!

Advent is Ending

We took a mid-morning walk and water is trickling; less snow is present.
This one is gorgeous but takes forever.
St. Mark had taken their Advent wreath down and in its place were numerous white poinsettias and the Nativity scene.  I copied and set up our touchable manger scene with a single red plant.

Errands, Walk, Grilling

Santa just had to have something additional for the stocking @ Barnes and Noble.

Snow is lingering due to chilly days.  It was a very chilly walk.
He cooked ribs, then grilled them for five minutes.  Delicious!
Winter walk, winter wardrobe!
