Pumpkins Are Up

I harvested seeds from our 8 pound pumpkins from last October.  Can't wait!!!

Squirrel #41

Release of #40 In Windy Park

#40 is Grumpy and Old

Neighbor heard the noises, took a peek, and pronounced him as "old and shaggy."

Knitting for Little Hands

Cute 4 1/2 year old grandson requested gloves, chose the wool via FaceTime and viewing my stash of blues, then requested "cupcakes" on them!  He traced his hand for me so I can knit adequate finger length, etc.  The Post Office returned the first "draft" of his hand but little boy persevered!!

Muno and Plex are waiting for "faces" and then are finished.

Large #38 Joins Field Trip

He ran to the Rescue Vehicle to join the pre-school kids who were enjoying the truck.

Tangled Yarn

or "yarn barf" as some knitters describe this mess.  Ordinarily, I can pull the yarn from the center and enjoy very portable projects.  This pair of socks will be knit at home until the "barf" is knit.  To see progress, many projects are listed under "nomacustom" in ravelry.

Needed Rain

Even this tree is growing late leaves!

Always Knitting

Upper left, and going clockwise: bucket of cotton from Restore with one cloth finished and three more started; his gray socks for this winter, brown Rudolph hat for "Nameless"; red Muno and beginning of Plex of famous Yo Gabba Gabba characters with lots more to do to finish, a lone sock in pinks and red needing a heel re knit, and two doll sweaters with lots more to do before finishing.  My last doll sweater set sold on etsy yesterday so I need to focus!!!   Multi-tasking is my name!!!

En route, I knit while he drives.  The new yarn from Restore (Habitat for Humanities) called me!

As If...........

there is a lack of yarn in this house; a find at Re convinced me to add to the stash.
we display too many cords; Doc organized and finished the last touches after this pic was taken.
my grands have too few cloth books, I'm in the stages of completing several more.  Need a name for "nameless" before some can be finished.

Friday Night Date = #36

As we sat on the back patio with ipads and snacks, this youth tripped the cage twice, gnawed on the cage from the outside, and after 20 minutes, went inside and closed the doors.
We drove him to the Park; see Doc's shoe!
Released him and am not sure who is more pleased, the squirrel or Doc!

Delayed Spring

Trees are growing, slowly but surely.
The pics are taken from Santa's Workshop; extra cars are due to Doc's retreat.
