Snow in Ski Resorts

The higher elevations received more than 12" of new snow.  We received just a trace.
It was icy and cold when I left this morning.  I was careful in the parking lot!!

He's putting up lots of Christmas decorations.

Snow, Ice, Cold

It tried so hard to snow, in 23 degrees but feeling like 14!
Then a thin layer of ice appeared; he walked on the snowy lawn to get our mail.

No walking or driving until this clears...............................! It's so pretty!

Getting Ready for Next Snow

My job is to check the gutters and blow out any stuck leaves.
 It's a quick process.
The front gutter was clear except for a balloon from August's special visitors! The little grands had thrown water balloons onto the roof!  Fun time!
Doc's job is to gather wood for splitting in the cozy garage.
Done!

St. Mark, Training, Walk

There's progress but the new church won't be ready until Spring 2019.
Training was held at the College Hill Library; a spectacular place!

Then home to walk and admire the mountains and few piles of snow.

Insulation, Ice, Snow Melt

I won't walk early when there's snow, ice under the snow, and black ice. I knit instead!!
 Snow is trying to melt.
Mark and a helper began the insulation to Doc's lawn mowing repair garage.
Although snow was melting, treacherous paths were along the greenbelt, at the parking lots at SOC, Costco, at Walgreen's, and at King Sooper's.  Scary!

We Love Snow

Doc needed some fresh veggies for the crock pot stew. We were there before much snow accumulated.

He's playing with indoor fire; I'm knitting.

It's a wet snow and will continue until midnight.

Before Snow

Dark snow clouds are  visible, guess are flying in huge flocks to find cover, and pyro man is enjoying some outdoor flames before it becomes too wet.
