Squirrel #8

I'm not sure how long he was in there; my class at Rocky Mountain was three hours. This dude was heavy!!

Squirrel #7

He's under the bird feeders and could not resist graham crackers with peanut butter!
 He's temporarily subdued.
Now he lives at West View in a large pine tree!

Onions and Spinach

Thank you, April! They are planted!  So is the package of organic spinach.
Our lilac bush has begun to leaf!
This tree has black berries that birds and squirrels love to eat.
The honey crisp apple tree is trying to leaf; give it two weeks.
Cotton wood trees are getting leaves too.

Missed The Weather Report

We went out last night so missed the evening news and weather prediction.  Time to plant spinach!!

Wagon Ride for Squirrel #5

He ran into the cage at 7:30 AM; there's too much commute traffic to take him to West View so we opted for a Field Trip to Ketner Lake.

This is my backyard and the reason squirrels are not welcome.  Everything is growing well already!

Knitting

To check the pattern, I'm knitting one for US on my own time!  It's correct so in between classes, I'll start this sample to be offered in May.

Chilly Weekend

We toasted in front of the fireplace a lot, I taught one class at Rocky Mountain, driving in 1/4 mile visibility..........

returned home to toast some more............(we LOVE our fireplace!)................
went to Mass in 28 degrees, had a great breakfast, watched my birthday balloon
escape out the back door (!) and are relaxing at home.
Somehow the balloon with helium escaped from the ribbon tie and we could not see it in the air!!

Squirrel #4 is Rowdy

It's time to plant spinach; time to weed out the neighborhood squirrel population.  They're quite happy at the West View Recreation Center.

You see violets, garlic, chives, day lilies, and pansies.

Squirrel #3 in 2014

I'm sewing in Santa's Workshop and take frequent breaks to check the have a heart cage.  It's that time of year!

Squirrel #1 in 2014

We arrived home from work in a lovely 67 degrees and found our first squirrel waiting to relocate!

No Snow Until Saturday

I couldn't resist!!  Pansies survive snow and our back patio will be pretty for Easter.
When things grow, squirrels come! They eat everything! They would climb the bird feeder poles until Doc put the dome on them.

Ok squirrels, I'm ready to take you to the park!!!
