#10 Arrived Before Snow

Jeff took him to the Park while he was recycling.  I'm getting another book done, if possible, before sewing class this afternoon.
Two books for the most special two granddaughters: one is for Brooklyn, one is for Natasha.
Most of the snow is South of us and arrived yesterday; ours will arrive soon.

#9 Likes Peanut Butter

I watched from the French Doors as this critter went into the cage to lick the peanut butter, then scamper off, only to return to finally get caught.
Angry!

Better to nibble peanut butter than my garden starts!

She's finally home at West View Park.

Baby Grandson Is One!

On 1-28-15, I attended his birthday celebration via Facetime.  Awesome party, wonderful baby! He grew up so quickly, trying to keep up with big brother and big sister.  Go, Augustine!

At 8:40, #8

It's 34 mph and 50 degrees; while sewing personal items, #8 trapped himself and the treat is gone!
My camera is complaining, shuts off suddenly, and is telling me I've dropped it way too many times.

Evening

It was 73 degrees again today!!!  After work, we celebrated with an outside fire, grilled chicken, and knitting Minion hat!

Dolls, NOT Squirrels

No one had clothes yesterday; I took too many trips to the Park with a captured squirrel. There are no squirrels in sight today!!!  I get to sew until class time!!

#7 In Cage

There's another running madly along the fence!

Okay!  Maybe we'll have fewer young ones in our neighborhood this March!!  I hope this is the video of #7; they're all starting to look alike!

And Five Minutes Later..........#6

It is 73 degrees this afternoon! Most of the latest snow (6 inches worth) is melted!

Good-bye #5

While Facetiming with Alexander (Natasha was asleep), I caught #5.  Little grandson got to admire a huge Colorado squirrel.  The squirrels in Texas are puny in comparison. We hung up so I could release this unhappy #5!  Five squirrels ago, I placed a graham cracker with peanut butter in the cage. By now it's looking pretty nasty!  Once they're caught, they have no interest in a snack!  I reset the trap with another fresh treat!  Who can resist this?
PS  I've dropped my camera a few too many times so it turns off unexpectedly.  Rest assured; #5 scampered out of the cage just fine!

Always Knitting

The mitts belong to a nurse from my recent MOHs surgery.
Stuart goes to Natasha, age 17 months.  I'm still knitting Dave for big brother.

Broken Coat Zipper, Lost Gloves

Winter isn't over but I managed to break my coat zipper!  Of course, it's my favorite coat for the past ten years!!  While getting haircut, buying milk and veggies, picking up meds from Walgreens, and buying yarn at Michael's, I managed to lose my gloves!!! I didn't have my coat with the pockets and was wearing layers and layers.................alas, no pockets.  Well, the coat now has a new zipper!

So now I'll add mittens or gloves to my list of things to knit quickly!

Less Snow, More Yarn

We enjoyed a huge snow melt yesterday!  Roads were clear driving to City Park for class.

They offer awesome yarn and fast shipping.
I use lots of sock yarn, for our socks, and for doll clothes.
Ten year old children are great knitters! They are knitting a turtle and a Minion.

Shovel the Driveway

Three hours after our driveway shovel, the sun has begun to melt the snow in the backyard.

Almost Six Inches of Snow

For awhile, it was blowing and snowing so hard that it appeared to be a blizzard.
The fireplace got a workout!
