Walk, Snow Melt, The Farm

The irises survived the 6" of wet snow!

The garden will do just fine also.
We made a quick trip to Boulder and don't miss the hectic traffic; its nice we live in a smaller city.

Garden, Walk, Weather Prediction

It's quite chilly and we miss our usual abundant sun.  Snow clouds are forming.  Irises are budding and Doc has the lawn looking perfect. The snow amounts vary depending on which site you view. We'll get anywhere from 1 - 12 inches!!!

Two Duck Families, Letters

Two duck families are nesting along the greenbelt and are so loving!  I lost my temporary crown so read fun letters while waiting to have it re cemented.  Great day!

Ducks and Disney

The ducks are happy with recent precipitation.
My feet are really happy with the new walking Disney shoes! Great tread and support!

Disney Walking Shoes

It was 30 degrees but sunny and pretty at 7:30 this morning on my first walk.  It's hard to believe we will have snow on Saturday!

These were on the front step when I returned from knitting and coffee with Karen. Fun! I'll test their comfort on this afternoon's walk.  The sole is nice so no slipping and the toe and canvas Disney will make them water repellent. Yay!

Morning Walk, Garden, and Dentist

Early morning walk, admiring my allium starting to bloom, and the irises nearly ready to bloom, and I even saw a few puddles from last night's rain. Snow has left the forecast............for now.
This is my 9:00 appointment, listening to Pandora, and knitting in between the process of having an old crown removed and a temporary one made until the new one is ready.  I knit the gusset of Doc's new socks and am grateful for the work Dr. Stang and Chris perform.

Ducks and Pup Along the Greenbelt

I met Virginia and "Lady" as I was entering the greenbelt and they were leaving.
 It's a gorgeous walk!
I see the parents (ducks) and can't wait for the little ones to trail them! Last year there were 6 babies following Mommy.............until there were 3. (sigh, nature at its saddest)
