Week 16: Shower Pipes, Fallen apples

Oh my! An entire family can fit into this shower and have their own sprayer!  This is the east side.
Looking out the bad boy windows I could see lots of green immature apples. ??!
This is the view looking west; Doc's lawnmower work is in the background.

Need Yarn?

This is for a special order and the "orange" is not going to work.  I shop via internet; knitters aren't very good Mall people or shoppers because it interferes with knitting time.  SO, I searched and found an etsy store that had just the right orange color!! The orange is on its way!!
My supervisor texted that this spot has some great yarn and today is the last day for some.  They sell on line, perfect for me!  However, Doc is an enabler and drove me to this location.
Oh such beautiful yarn! The lady who dyes yarn knit as we chatted, knit as she was ringing up my purchases, and knit while the Texas grands facetimed and swam in their pool.  My kind of knitter; she multitasks just great.  She also admitted that she doesn't shop, doesn't go to Malls, etc.
My purchases; Doc requested a Broncos hat in very tight knit so I'll use the sock yarn/fingering yarn for him and maybe a size 2 needle.  Winter is coming and so is football season.

Week 16: Copper, Shower Parts

Builders, including plumbers can move everything around!  The shower stall is huge; the existing toilet is moved to allow a "hallway" in the new bathroom.  Awesome!

View from Santa's Workshop

I get to see bunnies pause and nibble, builders come and go, lots of people and beautiful flowers.
It's a great view; the glads are so beautiful this year.

Week 16: Shower Framing

Mark and Jake framed the big boy shower stall yesterday.  Door is on the east and we are happy.
John, Master Tiler, advised about existing tile and what is NEW right now.

Mower Man, Tsums, Garden Helper, Ice Cream

Can you see the Tsums? They went for an early walk with me.

Builder's five year old is trimming dead flowers from the garden.  Great helper!!!
Doc made chocolate chip ice cream!!  Oh, so good.

The flowers this year are spectacular in spite of near 100 degrees for a month.

Week 16: Total Chaos

Looking down into the crawl space, you see debris, some insulation and some electrical (a light is code) and dryer vent, etc.  Whew
The bathroom will include a shower; part of the wall is torn; they will frame this week or next. There is no water in this bathroom since yesterday so workers will be rerouted! I doubt the washer is usable today.
TJ is still insulating and the electrical inspection is sometime today.
We are calling this Doc's "nook."

Family of Ducks Goes to Ketner

This is the safe path, under the street, to Lake Ketner and Kensington Park. All six babies look healthy and imprinted well!

Gorgeous Gladiola

Week 16: Insulation, Gas Line

The garage has an explosion of pink panther insulation.  TJ has his share in the Sun Room.
What I won't photograph is the chaos in the basement, as Ron the plummer reroutes the gas line for the gas fireplace.  It's loud and his helper has requested a broom; I know it's messy and chaotic.

Lovely Gardens and Greenbelt

Bunnies are everywhere and love my front garden.
I walked the greenbelt up to Oak Street to visit my trip site.  It's a treacherous segment of sidewalk.

I can't remember a pink and white gladiola from last year.  Gorgeous!
