Beautiful Snow

It will do this until tomorrow noon; no accumulation is predicted.  Our yard will love all this moisture.

Early Morning Walk

It's still snowing, still only 36 degrees with feels like 25.  Our plants should not be harmed by this. Yay!

Flurries, Then Snow; No Concrete Tomorrow

The storm is arriving earlier than thought; no concrete will be poured tomorrow.  We love snow!

Walk Before Rain and Snow

It's very cold; a day for two hats and two pair of gloves.  Rain arrives this morning and snow during the night.

After Second Inspection

Two workers stayed in the "pool" after the inspector left.  I wonder what they are doing!

Knitting and Bunny

Becky often has one or more bunnies in her yard as I walk past each morning. He didn't mind the snow or me either when I walked my route.
Knitting at West View is great and this knitter is showing a newbie how to purl using a picking method.  She wraps her left pointer once or twice.

Just a Dusting

This is the white peony that Loretta brought yesterday.
It was supposed to rain but became quite chilly! Not even bunnies are in the garden this morning.

Construction: SureVoid

They came this morning and worked until early afternoon.  Inspector must have asked for this.

Now it's trying to rain with snow in the forecast for our area starting Sunday.  Breckenridge is already getting snow.  This is such an awesome climate!!

Bunnies Like Backyard

It's a wreck of a garden and the back gate was removed at the start of week one.  Bunnies
love it!!  Squirrels are terrified and won't even linger on the fence.

Construction: Week Three

Inspection was yesterday.  I wonder if we passed!
The schedule at first was to pour today; it will start to rain at noon and snow at 2:00 AM.  If they postpone, I won't be surprised!

Front Yard

The green belt is a favorite place for daily walks.

Doc has the front lawn looking so beautiful and soon the irises will bloom.
I found two surviving teeny Cosmos plants!

Walls and Ducks

The workers arrived around 7:45 and made more progress.
Two ducks are nesting along the green belt.  This happened a couple years ago too.

Construction: Inner Walls

Open the garage door and you are met with a 5 foot drop!  Walls are in progress!
It's an overcast and beautiful day; this of course is along the green belt.

Blooming Trees in Backyard

 honey crisp apple tree
 chokeberry, not gooseberry bush
lilac bush

End of Week Two of Construction

New drain of 30' is inserted but not buried yet.  This way they can be avoided!!
Plywood will help the truck drivers be more aware of where the pvc pipe is!
Matthew also reconnected the downspout and will bury it also after trucks are finished.
Here's the drain under the lilac bush.  It'll be a healthy well watered shrub!!
Helical piers are installed.

Helical Piers and New Pipe

Matthew and Mark (brothers) are repairing the sump drain that extends 30 feet.  Brad and Bearded Guy are inserting the helical piers using a robot! They are checking the levels and it is fascinating!
