Cooler, Echinacea, Day Lilies, Knitting

The new cooler even has a handle and can be hauled like luggage!
The echinacea came from a packet of seeds from the Sierra Club.  This one is in the backyard.
Day lilies are starting to bloom.
Another echinacea, also know as cone flower, is in the front garden.
Five knitters met at Panera this morning.

Cute Oliver and Gorgeous Yarn

Oliver greets us every time we leave a garage door or front door.  Precious!
These are great finds at ARC, originally $26.75 per ball and purchased for $2.50 each.

I also came home with three skeins of wool hand dyed at $2.15 per hank.

Golf Ball Size Hailstorm

Our gardens survived quite well although we did lose a lot of green apples.

Wet

This is unusual for us in June.  Light rain, 57 degrees, and it's 90% humidity.

Don't fall for those sad eyes! Dennis and I passed one another; he's walking with the brace, slowly but surely.

Front Garden and Oliver

As I head towards the greenbelt, Oliver greets me and begs to go with me.  He's huge, adorable, and way too active for me.  Alas.....................it is life.

Sewing and Knitting Life

Beginning Sewing class on Saturday was very productive! Eager adults are such fun.

We went to the ARC on Saturday morning and I found 16 oz of alpaca for Hermione's hat and new mitts.  Knitting is one of my greatest passions.
