Biking Along the Green Belt

It's such fun to have company!!!

Walking Relieves Stress

There's little snow left in our community!
Yesterday was stressful; GPS routed us to a golf course instead of Avista Adventist Hospital; he claims "fat finger error."  All went well even though we had a delayed arrival.  Today I got to walk!
It was 64 degrees and 9% humidity!! Spring?
These are non-skid and courtesy of the hospital. They are so comfy!

Candles in Living Room

We went to Re this morning, found some new candle sconces and are adding atmosphere to the living room.  We rarely use it in the winter!

Oops! Too Small Mittens

I knit these for Augustine BEFORE getting Mommy's outline of his hand length! I had measured his cousin's hands in December; Natasha is five months older than Augustine, BUT the hands are so
different in size.  So now I'll start anew and be ready for the visit in April.

Bobeches

We have always loved candles and now have an abundance in the addition, complete with bobeches to catch the melting wax.

Few Walkers This Morning

It's 11 degrees!  I'm wearing layers and the hand woven scarf from a doll friend.  Cozy!

Cold Walk, Great Yarn Find

It's cold and windy; the snow lingers.

We went to the ARC and wow! He found cozy sweatshirts and I found a bag of wool sock yarn!

Several are enough for kid socks; the rest can knit up in doll sweaters.

Seriously???

I came out of the knitting classroom after a fantastic group of new knitters only to find a car parked VERY closely to my Forester!!  So, I entered my car via the passenger side!

My afternoon walk was a shortened version; it was a fun and tiring day!

Stitching, Walking, Tsums

Doc digitized and stitched the Mickey; the book is from my sewing machine.
This sock will fit newborn Ellie (first grandbaby to my sister, Cherie) from 0-3 months.  It's bigger than a doll sock but still tiny.
 The snow lingers................

We LOVE Tsums!  Natasha requested more but Costco doesn't have them except at Christmas and Costco was my place to shop today.

FaceTime with Toddlers (grandchildren)

Pictures are from present to past!  Augustine gave up his nap so we could FaceTime.
First, he called while I was completing my time sheet at work.
When I returned home, we chatted again, and he had control of the ipad.  Mommy isn't allowed to help!  We have such fun conversations!
The other toddler grandchild called at 7:10 our time!  We chatted and then she went out to play!

Chilly Walk

Snow is trying to melt; it's always slower in shady parts of the greenbelt.

Amazing Climate, Fast Snow Melt

Once again, our glorious sun, high altitude, low humidity (47% in spite of all the snow), and today's high of 45 degrees, there will be no slushy, dirty, lingering snow.  We love it!
