From Pout To Ecstasy

Sooooo, a young Mom enrolled herself and daughters ages 12 and 9 for a beginning knitting class.  Twelve year old was delighted!!  Nine year old was NOT happy and pouted; Mom bribed her with a coke and M & M peanuts.
When they arrived, bringing cokes and candy, I told the group that people knit all kinds of things.  I then dumped out the above assortment to give examples.

Little girl went ape over this, learned to knit, asked if I had white yarn, wandered through the yarn section looking for her sheep yarn, asked her Mom if she could buy chosen yarn!  My comment is always, "did you bring your allowance?"  Ha!  The trio went home so happy, all knitting with their freebies and little girl with her new yarn for her sheep!!

This knit lamb with coat was loved and much handled in between little hands knitting a row, then playing with lamb again.  Such happiness!!
