Ash Wednesday

We each received a "Little Black Book" as is the custom at this parish to guide people through Lent.  I wrote my plans and began them on Monday.  You can always add or change your plans.  In spite of the 4 inches of new snow, I'm sure the parking lot of Spirit of Christ will be cleared by 9:00 AM Mass. 

Thankfully, the rain started 2.5 hours later than predicted, which made the snow delayed.  We received four inches instead of six!! Our abundant sun will melt it by this afternoon.  We LOVE this climate!!
