91 and Preparing for Winter

Squirrel is missing part of his tail!  I didn't do that; the have a heart does not harm the critters.

Lawns are still green and the air is calm yet leaves are changing color and falling.
I'm knitting sweaters for the dolls; they get chilly too!
Doc is splitting wood for the fireplace.
Much of the edible garden is gone.
Portulaca blooms love our sun and are prolific.
Here's the famous squirrel candle holder!
It's a high of 91 degrees, 7% humidity, and we are preparing for the coming winter.  It will be here soon!  I transplanted crowded daylilies from the edible garden in back to the front garden by the mailbox.  The bunnies think I did it just for them!! They are nibbling!  Doc is busy doing his part so we can have a roaring fire on the day of our first cold snap.  We love this climate and today are enjoying one of the final days of summer 2015.
