Broncos Kneesocks

After saying NO for two years and numerous requests, I finally said yes to an adult sewing student, Eric, who really really wanted hand knit wool Broncos socks.  It's cold at the games.  He brought me a Sanders shirt, costing his friend who gifted it, $150!!!  He admitted he would never pay that, was happily wearing a navy shirt to the games, but his friend owns at least 15 similar shirts!!!! That's a true fan!  So, Eric said there was no deadline and he plans to roll up his jeans to show off the socks. He's at least 6'3" with long narrow feet and matching calves.  I'm hoping to finish these quickly so I can go on to other knits.
